Young Dance Collective

Cosmo Scharf is 17 years old and is a founding member of Young Dance Collective. He started dancing from a young age and has continued ever since. He has studied ballet at a href=”http://www.ballethispanico.org/”>Joffrey, Ballet Hispanicoand Alvin Ailey. Cosmo collaborated with Larry Keigwin in choreographing and performing an original duet with YDC member Lev Ratnovsky for In the Company of Men at Dance New Amsterdam. He has performed for Johannes Weiland at the Duke on 42nd Street, with YDC at Lincoln Center Out of Doors, and in Noemie Lafrance’s Agora. He has also performed with YDC in DANCEOFF! at PS122. He loves movies, video games, technology, and New York City. He plans to go to college for film and work as a director or cinematographer.
